To create the exaggerated ribbing on our small Della vase, skilled artisans throw the cylindrical form by hand, let it partially dry, then apply flat pieces of clay one at a time. Pleasantly uniform yet delightfully organic, the ivory-glazed vessel suggests ancient columns as well as modern architecture. Della stands on its own as an eye-catching ceramic sculpture or adds understated sophistication to dried stems and faux botanicals.
